1.Conventional Downloads through browser's download manager may stop when there is a sudden power failure or sudden system re start etc....(NO Resumable Download)

However,some browsers are allowing RESUME Option thesedays.But it should also be noted that the Server from which you are downloading should support the RESUME functionality.Major Servers Like Rapidshare etc....will not allow resume option for free users.

2.Waiting Time

In some file-sharing sites,you can observe these kind of pop ups or messages saying you have to wait for so many minutes to download the file (off course for free users alone)
